Hi families,

I wanted to share more detailed information about some of the opportunities we are putting together for our players this spring and summer. Our goal is to continue helping the girls grow on the court, build confidence, strengthen team chemistry, and create more chances for development beyond the regular season.

Bennett Fit

We are also working on a performance training opportunity with Bennett Fit.

  • We will begin with an introductory workout
  • After that, we will determine what is realistic and doable for our group
  • Jah will come to our site to work with us
  • The goal is to have two 12-week cycles of training
  • Players will also receive homework/workouts to complete on their own

This is intended to help with strength, athletic development, consistency, and building better habits outside of team practice.

Bay Area Roaddawgs AAU

We are exploring an AAU opportunity with the Bay Area Roaddawgs.

  • Practice Days: Friday and Sunday
  • Cost: Price is negotiable
  • We are also looking into fundraising opportunities to help offset the total cost for families.

This could be a strong option for players who want additional competition, experience, and exposure during the spring and summer.

Summer League

Our Summer League will run in June and July.

  • No cost to participate since we host the league
  • Families and players will be expected to help with responsibilities that support the league, including:
    working games
    helping with the snack shack
    supporting other production/game-day responsibilities

This is a great way for our players to continue competing while also learning responsibility and helping build our basketball community.

Summer League

Individual Workouts

Players will also have the opportunity for individual workouts.

  • These workouts will be personalized
  • The focus will be on improving each player’s overall game
  • Areas may include skill work, shooting, decision-making, footwork, conditioning, and confidence

This gives each athlete a chance to focus on her own growth and specific needs.

Spring and Summer Camps

We are planning to participate in spring and summer camps as another way to build the group.

  • These camps are great for team building, bonding, and competing together
  • Usual sites include Santa Clara and St. Mary’s

These experiences give the girls a chance to hoop together in a new environment while continuing to strengthen relationships as a team.

Youth Camps

We will also have Youth Camps this spring/summer.

  • Details are still TBA
  • This will be a chance for our players to work, coach younger kids, and earn some money along the way

This is a valuable leadership opportunity and a great way for our athletes to give back while growing as mentors.

Thank you

We will continue to share more details as dates, costs, and logistics become finalized. Thank you for your support as we work to create meaningful opportunities for the girls both on and off the court.
