Wing/Interior
Andrea’s job is to use her rhythm, coordination, and improved shot to give us solid minutes—run the floor, get to her spots, and take good, balanced shots when she’s open. She helps the team by defending with active feet, learning the rules and situations, and using her experience to play under control and support newer teammates.
-
Strengths – what you already do well and can rely on in games.
- Second-year JV player with experience in our system and basic concepts.
- Her dance background gives her natural rhythm, coordination, and body control.
- Her shot has improved and she’s more confident stepping into open looks.
- She is coachable and responds well to specific, detailed feedback.
-
Growth Areas – specific skills, decisions, or habits she needs to improve.
- Needs to sharpen footwork on both ends—pivots, jump stops, closeouts, and slides.
- Can use her dance rhythm more intentionally in her game (timing cuts, change of pace, and balance on finishes).
- Needs to watch more basketball to better understand rules, spacing, and common game situations.
- Still building consistency with game-speed reps so her skills show up the same way in games as in practice.
-
Leadership – how she communicates, leads teammates, and the team’s energy.
- As a second-year JV player, she can help newer teammates understand drills and expectations.
- Can lead by example with her improved shooting form and steady work in practice.
- Her calm presence and rhythm can help settle the team when things get rushed.
- By talking more on defense and during drills, she can turn her experience into leadership on the floor.
Game Feedback
“Game feedback means I’m taking what you did in the game—good and bad—and giving you clear, specific things to KEEP doing and specific things to FIX, so you can get better and help the team more.”
